hey SOOOOOO i got this idea from a friend, and it may seem odd, but i think it will help me blow off some steam!!!! each number, in no particular order, will describe a friend of mine and how i love or worry about our friendship.... but no one reading this will know which friends i am talking about :) and please dont try to guess, because i wont tell you and you wont guess correctly :)
1. you are one the funniest people i know and i think you are way cooler than i am :) i am so happy we became friends, but recently i really dont feel like you appreciate my friendship. i try so hard to be nice to you and be a great friend, but i dont feel like your trying. it bothers me how you always get the things i also want, i guess theres a bit of jealousy there. please, lets go back to our old, non-competative friendship where you dont take all the attention
2. we have been so close for so long, and i dont want you to slip away!!! i really hope we can stay close friends, even if we dont do the same activities!!! your quiet strength inspires me and i really want to go back to our very old friendship!
3. you make me laugh like no other with your sass and i love how we can share so much. but i think you might be hiding something big, and i want you to know that you can tell me :) you're always there for me, and our friendship is a lot of fun :)
4. you are such a great person and always laugh at me, which makes me happy :) but you can get a bit cliquey and try to hard. you tend to pick one friend to gravitate to at a time, but i know that you are always there for me, and june is a fun month together :) we share a passion and a lot of great, old memories!
5. you know me too well. probably better than i know myself. i can be a jerk to you sometimes, but i know you are always there anyways. likewise, you can be a pain sometimes, but thats just because we are a little bit TOO close :) i can never see myself not being friends with you for the rest of my life, and i know that i can always count on you for a laugh or an awkward boy story. thanks, for everything :)
6. i had a crush on you. and embarrassing crush on you. and im so glad it is over now because you are one of my best friends that i know will laugh with me and tell me the things i want to hear. you can be a bit insensitive at times, but always come back with a hug. your smile lights up the room, and thanks for all the late night get talks :)
7. you're a great friend, but do you really consider me a good friend? i dont know sometimes, but i hope you do. i know you are higher on the social chain than i am, and you are only friends with people who will help you to something in someway, but i hope i can see past that and see how beautiful and funny you are. nevertheless, im glad we have become closer recently.
8. i worry about you, you are beautiful and great, but you need to try harder to be a great student. you have the capacity to do unbelievable things in your life- just put your mind to it and set yourself up for success.
9. you are so sweet to everyone, but i have discovered a hidden sass underneath your sweetness recently that has taken me by surprise. still, you always put other before yourself which is very admirable and great as a friendship quality, but sometimes you say things that could be taken a bit hurtfully. but, i admire the confidence you have in yourself so much.
10. you are loud and obnoxious and i love it :) although it can be a bit much sometimes, you can always make me laugh or show me how to have a good time. its hard to find your weakness or sadness because you hide it so well for the betterment of others, and that is something that we have in common. you are very kind and love being with people :)
11. you need to stop caring so much about fitting in and worry more about being yourself :) you are beautiful and funny and talented and need to find these things inside of you and stop trying to compensate. you've always been there for me, and i am really glad i became your friend in the past and helped you through a rough time. i think our friendship was very good for the both of us, and i hope it stays that way :)
these are only a few good ones, but now im tired and it is TOO LATE. again, this is not to secretly say mean things about people or anything like that- it is jut to blow off some steam and get an opinion out there! i love all my friends to the moon and back, and dont know what i would do without them!!!

Shit Choir Kids Say
YIKES i am a terrible blogger.... i just re-read my past posts, and i apologize. also, posting every 4 months really cant count as blogging.... more like "sharing your emotions to a computer screen when you feel like it." that should be the title of my blog,
ANYWHO i went to Magic Theatre last night, its a band concert at my high school that is SUPER sick and awesome because besides the amazing songs and playing the band does, they also have skits and student-made mini movies and basically its a night to point out the cult that is BAND. i used to be a band kid myself, until i was sucked into choir by my unfortunate love for the theatre. BUT no fear, choir concert are next week for anyone who is interested!!! except none of you are....so.... never mind.
one of the videos at the concert yesterday was made by my friend Caroline that was titled "Stuff Band Kids Say" modeled after the typical youtube videos. i got to thinking, and thought of so many awesome sayings for choir kids, cause we have a LOT. if you arent in choir, specifically WHS concert choir, some of these probably wont make any sense and you will probably think i am a fool. BUT i needed somewhere to write these down so i wouldnt forget them, and if you ARE in choir reading this, i hope you enjoy it :)
Wyffels: Alright, AND....
Choir: bridge.....water.....meeehhh....... wait, what page are we on?

Dahl: I just really don't think you were aware that time... Let's be more aware...
Choir student: I forgot my music at home today, so i just grabbed random sheet music off the floor and pretended to use it as my own music.
Choir student: I got in trouble today for smiling at someone across the room. No cross-communication.
Wyffels: We need to be more black in this piece.
Choir: *standing on the risers after a piece smiling* Hhhhmmmmmm...... *humming comenses*
Choir student: Ehmygawd, is this Whitacre?!?!
Choir student: For the party, the tenors will bring the fruits.
Choir student: Can we make the tempo on this song faster, PLEASE?!?!

this globe is golden
i havent blogged since who knows when, which is probably a good thins since i dont know the first thing about blogging and yet i still have one..... so.... here i am! im back!!!
Oscar Academy Award Acceptance Speech: Oh, i am just honored to be on this stage talking in front of all these stars i have been worshiping since i was in Elementary School. To say this is a dream come true would even be an understatement. I dont deserve this award at all, although i have been dreaming about it since i was 10. (cue the crying) I would like to thank the Academy and everyone who helped make this night possible. I would like to thank my mom and dad and brother James, Charlie Leonard for getting my interested in acting, all my friends and family back home in Minnesota, (insert names of directors, coworkers and inspiration here). Seriously, if i could break this trophy into smaller pieces and give a bit to everyone in this category, i would, because your talent inspires me more and more everyday to work harder and live better. Thank you everyone to the moon and back, and I cant wait for (insert movie name here) to change the world!!
as you can see i have been watching the Golden Globes and conspiring speeches in the shower yet again. my apologizes. on a side note, heres another episode of Mari's Current Life in a Nutshell:
1. Big Time Rush isnt coming to MN on their next tour, which makes me want to throw knives and someone. BUT they will be on Ellen talking and performing tomorrow, Jan 16th, and guess who will be watching??????!!!!!
2. all my friends are having boy troubles and i love helping them sort them out. but its also sad cause i have no boy troubles, cause no one like me cause i am a fool.
3. my dad told me i was the most artistic person he know yesterday and two days ago my brother said i could possibly be a hipster in like 5 years. movin towards the goal..... yes......
4. I am going to have a 80s movie marathon soon...... i really want one. were talkin Pretty in Pink, 16 Candles, Beullers Day Off, the whole shabang.
5. ive started bringing home lunch to school in an attempt to be healthier, which is not working at all.
6. the fact that The Help only won one award, by the actress who played Minny i think, is a crime against humanity.
7. i am in a play called Laramie Project right now, about a gay boy in Wyoming who was beaten to death. it is a fantastic show, and you should all come see it first week in March at WHS :)
8. true or false: elephant print leggings would be disturbing.
9. Only 66 days, 22 hours and about 27 minutes until the Hunger Games premiere.....
10. my obsession with Peta chips have been rekindled, probably cause they the remind me of Peeta...
i promise i will be posting more soon!! for now, it is off to bed, and lots of work and studying to do in the next two weeks..... GAH NO. adios muchachos!!

i had the most incredible weekend ever. i went to a Steubenville North conference at St. Thomas in St. Paul with my AWESOME AND UNBELIVABLE pals from Holy Name, my church :) one of our theme songs of the week was called "Your Love Never Fails" and i was like HEY THATS THE NAME OF MY BLOG!!!!! needless to say, it made me really happy. beginning, halfway, and the end.
FAITH LOVE AND PIXIE DUST TO ALL.
it has been far too long since I have posted last.... i kept thinking.."i should post something on my blog now," and then never did. WELL, a lot has happened since i posted last! but lets focus on the important things, shall we??
1. its summer in minnesota. not in some freakin desert. WHY IS IT SO HOT?!?! its like mother natures trying to punish us for pretending were OK with the intense cold. "ohh, so the cold is ok now is it?? lets try the heat on for sixe puny minnesotans!!!" obviously, its mother natures time of the month.
2. Harry Freakin Potter. I really cant say much more than that, besides that fact that it is the end. and i am sad. beynd repair.
3. i thought about it, and decided that my favorite character in HP is Draco Malfoy. not only is Tom Felton SEXY AS FUDGE, Draco is just the all around awesome. he never wanted to kill anyone, he was sucked into the Death Eaters life because of his parents, and now he has a sick awesome tattoo for the rest of his life!!!

4. as summer is already halfway over, GAH (hence the halfway part of the blog title..) and i still have many things to accomplish on my summer 2011 bucket list!!! i wont write the whole thing down here, but i will mention a few that i still have left to do...
- Chocolate Slide n' Slide
- Meet Big Time Rush (opportunity at their concert in Aug, which could end up being the greatest day of my life. more info on that concert to come..)
- Disney Movie Marathon
- go Pool Hopping (thats when to go to someones pool, get bored, and then keep going around to different pools and or bodies of water that are suitable for playing in.)
- go to Perkins at 3am with a large group of people in PJs (idea courtesy of B. McNiff)
and that my friends, is only scratching the surface of the list me friends.... lots left to do this summer...
5. this time also mark the beginning of something for me too! I found out this morning that i am in fact intolerant to wheat. its been rumored for me before, but now confirmed. dont get me wrong, i can never stop eating wheat all together, but for now i have to try to eat just a bit less.... this is coming from the girl who used to eat loaves of bread at one time... BUT today i bought a ton of wheat free stuff at my ALL TIME FAV GROCERY STORE LAKEWINDS!!!!!!

1. Why do we not have any Nilla Wafers in this household?? WHY?!?! a home without nilla wafers is like Fran Fine without New York.

LITERALLY. we are forced to wear huge pregnancy pants that go up to out SHOULDERS (mrs. cambell... ) and the pregnency part of that sentence aint too easy either. SERIOULSY GUYS, lets start acting normal and allowing all girls to have complete control over your feelings and desires. GET IT?!!? good.
3. i should be doing my biology X project, but i dont find drawing candy created animals to be very fun... especially without nilla wafers.

4. I literally just finished watching The King's Speech a few minutes ago. all i have to say is that it was absolutely brilliant. at first i was super pissed that Colin Firth beat out Jesse Eisenberg and The Social Network, because i was OBSESSED with that movie for the longest time, but now i definitely see why he won :)
5. TEE MINUS TWO DAYS UNTIL MY CONFIRMATION!!!!!!!!
6. TEE MINUS THREE DAYS UNTIL THE GLEE CONCERT. HECK TO THE YES.
7. only 7 days of 10th grade left.... and let me just say that i have some major plans for the summer. i plan to fall in love, do something outrageous, and try something completely new. above all, i don't plan on doing ANY WORK. except for...... testing out of spanish 3..... and doing summer APUSH readings...... awww crap.

1. Why do we not have any Nilla Wafers in this household?? WHY?!?! a home without nilla wafers is like Fran Fine without New York.
2. Since when have guys started to think they are the dominat gender?? last time i checked, the women wear the pants. LITERALLY. we are forced to wear huge pregnancy pants that go up to out SHOULDERS (mrs. cambell... ) and the pregnency part of that sentence aint too easy either. SERIOULSY GUYS, lets start acting normal and allowing all girls to have complete control over your feelings and desires. GET IT?!!? good.
3. i should be doing my biology X project, but i dont find drawing candy created animals to be very fun... especially without nilla wafers.
AND NOW FOLKS, MARI WILL FINALLY BE FINISHING THIS BLOG POST, ONE WEEK LATER FROM WHEN THE ABOVE WAS WRITTEN. thats embarassing...
sorry about that..... computer complications..... BUT THE BLOG MUST CONTINUE!!!!! here are my now present thoughts, continued from before :
4. I literally just finished watching The King's Speech a few minutes ago. all i have to say is that it was absolutely brilliant. at first i was super pissed that Colin Firth beat out Jesse Eisenberg and The Social Network, because i was OBSESSED with that movie for the longest time, but now i definitely see why he won :)
5. TEE MINUS TWO DAYS UNTIL MY CONFIRMATION!!!!!!!!
6. TEE MINUS THREE DAYS UNTIL THE GLEE CONCERT. HECK TO THE YES.
7. only 7 days of 10th grade left.... and let me just say that i have some major plans for the summer. i plan to fall in love, do something outrageous, and try something completely new. above all, i don't plan on doing ANY WORK. except for...... testing out of spanish 3..... and doing summer APUSH readings...... awww crap.

"Last night i lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and i thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling?"
is it sad that I am super excited for the Kids Choice Awards tonight??? yah... it kind of is.... but... BIG TIME RUSH IS PERFORMING. AND THEY ARE NOMINATED FOR MULTIPLE AWARDS. if they dont win.... Nickelodean better watch their backs.
so.... ive been at work ALL DAY. since everyone is somewhere exotic and warm for spring break, i was forced to work overtime... and i needed some sanity in my day and decided to post some SUPER RANDOM CRAP on my blog :) i hope you enjoy!!!

i am leaving for Chicago, the 3rd greatest city in the US, on tuesday, I CANT WAIT!!!!!! i will give you an entire post update about the trip when i return!!!
